A PCO beginner course is a type of training program that is designed to teach individuals the skills and knowledge needed to become a professional private hire driver. PCO beginner courses typically cover a range of topics such as road safety, customer service, vehicle maintenance and local geography.

The course can also cover training on how to use the specific technology and systems used by the company for which the individual will be working. Upon completion of the course, you will typically be required to pass a test or assessment before you can begin working as a private hire driver.
